DISC GOLF

Lehmonkärki DISC GOLF

The Lehmonkärki disc golf course was completed in 2018. Designed by Kalevi Louhivuori, the course winds through stunning rocky landscapes with Lake Päijänne shimmering in the background.

Lehmonkärki’s disc golf course is a professional-level, full-length 18-hole course. The longest fairway is 120 meters and the shortest 58 meters. Most of the holes are par 3. You should start the round by first warming up with throws to the training basket. The terrain is hilly and varied, so going round the course is also good exercise. If you get hungry, you can eat bilberries and lingonberries in the wild, and at the end of the game you can dip into Lake Päijänne. In addition, our summer café with its delicious homemade ice cream, pastries, and special coffees is open every day from 11 am to 6 pm between Midsummer and early August.

Combine disc golf and a holiday

You can come and stay at Lehmonkärki for a longer period of time. Get a group of friends together and spend a fun weekend staying at one of our classy villas and playing. More information about our villas and the booking status.

You can simply sit with a fishing or spinning rod on the dock of your villa. The rent of each villa includes a Päijän rowing boat, which you can use to row to the edge of the nearest reed bed.

You can take to the water with your own boat as well. You can safely launch your own boat (e.g. a troller) from the shallow sandy beach of Lehmonkärki. The closest paved slipway is at Vääksy marina. If you come to Lehmonkärki aboard a larger boat, you can safely dock your boat at our guest dock. Please notify the Lehmonkärki reception of your arrival.

Winter fishing is also possible at Lehmonkärki. Hire ice fishing gear or go on a day trip with a guide to enjoy taut lines.
